Robin believes we must turn our energy challenge into an opportunity to get America running on clean, homegrown, affordable energy, which will help fuel our economy with new jobs and businesses, strengthen our national security, and protect our environment. She is committed to fighting the special interests and the naysayers who want to preserve the status quo, because if America doesn’t lead the way toward the clean energy future, someone else will.
Growing up in Rolla and continuing to oversee her family’s cow-calf operation, Robin Carnahan understands the unique challenges facing rural Missouri. She will bring to Washington a commonsense view of what is needed to advance policies that not only provide stability and predictability to family farmers, but also boost profitability and economic opportunity.
Robin will work hard to ensure our students have the tools they need to become the next great generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Instead of imposing inflexible and unfunded mandates on local school systems, Robin will fight for commonsense education policies that empower local school districts, improve teaching and learning conditions, encourage more family and community involvement, and ensure public resources and revenue go towards public schools.
